2002 Texas State Limited Match
Since 1993 the Texas State Limited match has always gotten rave reviews from shooters. In previous years we've missed it due to conflicts with other matches, but this year we made the trip to Breckenridge, Texas for the match. STI is the founding match sponsor. They been a match sponsor every year since the match started. The other major match sponsors were Strayer-Voigt Inc. and Shooters Connection. Mitchell Custom Guns and Outdoor Specialities were match sponsors. Stage sponsors are noted below.
The match photos were mostly taken by Penny Riggs with help from Karl Rehn. Digital pictures and video were contributed by Nathan Taylor and squad 13. Robert Porter did the match booklet and provided us with the high res, full color PDF files of the stage drawings. The JPEG versions of the stage descriptions were scans of the match booklet and are considerably lower-resolution than the PDF files.
We are writing an article about the match for Front Sight magazine that will hopefully be published in a future issue.
