Position: Guest Instructor

Teaches: AR15 Rifle, Home Defense Tactics. Developed lesson plans for both courses with Karl Rehn. Develops law enforcement training courses and runs training exercises for Austin PD.

Certifications: Texas Commissioned Peace Officer, SWAT schools.

Memberships: NRA, Texas State Rifle Association, Texas Tactical Police Officers Association, others.

Training: He has attended courses at Gunsite, SureFire, and other academies and has extensive experience and training in tactical rifle, building search, low light confrontations, and team tactics. Teaches in-service courses for Austin PD. Helped develop and run the 'Active Shooter' force-on-force training course for APD.

Experience/Achievements: He is also a frequent contributor to the Texas Tactical Police Officer's Association magazine, COMMAND, and an occasional competitor in local IPSC matches.

Recent: Organized and conducted the 2001 Texas Tactical Officers competition held in Austin, Texas, and a benefit concert featuring local musicians including Vallejo (shown in photo).

Personal: Mick's other interests include guitar playing and website design & management. He is the webmaster for several law enforcement related web sites including lowdrag.org.
